Dan and Deb O’Connor are the founders of O’Connor Construction Company. Deb’s grandfather founded a major general contracting business in the Rochester area in 1937. Deb’s father then continued growing the business with his brother. Dan became a master bricklayer under their tutelage. 

In 1985 Dan and Deb decided to venture out on their own and started O’Connor Construction. Early focus included masonry and concrete work but finetuned into masonry including everything brick, block, and stone. Their son, Shaun, joined the firm and

became an invaluable asset, taking over the company in 2018.

Many major building projects have been completed by the firm including all the interior masonry of Mayo’s Gonda building. They have done numerous commercial and industrial buildings throughout the area, including schools, hotels, DOT, and many more. They have constructed and restored residential masonry and chimneys throughout SE Minnesota.
